The Jackson County Clerk of Courts Title Division offers a wide variety of
services including motor vehicle titles, duplicate titles, and watercraft
titles.
Residents must apply for a Certificate of Title. Prior to 2003 and the passage
of Senate Bill 59, a resident was required to file in their county of residence.
The restriction is no longer in place and a vehicle title transaction can now be
processed in any Ohio county Clerk of Courts Title Division office. A photo ID
or driver's license is required for identification.
